The product of decay, almost never made intentionally. It is very hard to set on fire and produces lots of smoke when it eventually does burn (which can be useful for some situations). It will break down into soil that is rich in organic matter that is very good for growing things, but it takes a long time.

The smallest piece of wood you can find, smaller than a finger. Burns easily (high efficacy) but quickly (low durability). Not useful for many things other than starting fires. Quality basically depends on how dry it is, which in turn depends on how green it is or how long it has had to rot.
