SUBTYPE: Cooking
DESCRIPTION:
Wooden bowls are some of the easiest watertight containers to make, but they have the disadvantage of not being able to go in a fire. If you want to cook in them, you need to transfer the heat. This is where boiling stones are useful. You generally don't make them; finding a good one means one that won't absorb fluids or crack under the repeated heating/cooling cycles.
